Wonderful quote. Really we should cry for God’s and devotees grace. Thank you very much.
Yes, we should learn to try to cry for the grace.
A very practical wisdom by HH Radhanath Swami here. A general understanding of Bhakti is that we offer some things to Lord and that only is considered as bhakti, but this wisdom here really connects us to the higher understanding of bhakti.
After all what can we offer to the Lord because everything already belongs to the Lord.
So we only need to give up our false ego and learn to try to cry for Lord’s grace which really purifies us. Very inspired to read this here.
The term “Bhakti” is so widely used by common people especially in Indian communities in various contexts but hardly understood in its true essence. This quote defines “Bhakti” very precisely and appropriately. Just cannot thank His Holiness in words.
It is true that different people have their own conceptions about Bhakti, unfortunately. I agree that this wisdom from HH Radhanath Swami defines it in such a holistic and simple way.
Thank you very much for such a nice quote.
This age of Kali according to Bhagvatam is an ocean of faults, ocean of reasons to become miserable; but there is one benediction, that simply by chanting Krishna’s name; like a vaccination if we keep Krishna’s name always prominent in our heart then we can be immune to the miseries and the suffering of this age of Kali.
